To commemorate that the European Union turned fifty in 2007 and the cultural diversity of Europe, all 27 European Union member states and the European Commission Delegation in Washington, DC, launched a literary project in the Spring of 2007, entitled European Poetry in Motion®. One of the Swedish contributions was I rörelse – On the Move by Karin Boye (1900-1941).
